Daniela Voit
I practice Shiatsu and Sei-Ki since 2017. Having received Shiatsu since I have been 18, I am very attuned to Ki movement in my body and therefore in people's body's. Sei-Ki is intuitive touch art that allows the receiver to unfold fully and be seen through touch for who they are. I love working with women. I am moving into working with women in regards to their menstrual cycle in connection to their emotional health, peri-menopause and menopause. Through giving chair Shiatsu in an office, I collected a lot of experience in working with tense and painful backs and shoulders.
Emily Fowke
I've been interested in shiatsu and traditional Chinese Medicine since my mid-twenties, and began to learn shiatsu in depth through a diploma course with Shiatsu College, London, in 2019, which I completed in 2024. The power of respectful, caring and knowledgeable touch along vital energy lines of the body has such a huge capacity for health. I've felt very inspired with what can be done with what is a mixture of simple techniques and a real depth of understanding that has been brought to us across many centuries of accumulated learning.. I practice 'Zen' or 'Iokai' shiatsu, as taught by Shizuto Masunga and through the influence of his student Pauline Suzaki, which uses Masunaga's interpretation of five element theory and an 'in the moment' diagnostic response to the energetic patterns of the body, with a technique of a still and active hand: 'mother hand' and 'child/active hand', as was taught by Shiatsu College.

My work is about meeting people where they’re at. I take time to listen to what’s alive for them, find what they really need in a session, and how I can assist their healing journey. I see no separation between the emotional and the physical, and hold a space that’s nurturing and supportive, so that the work can be direct and effective.

Annabel Hope
I grew up in Banchory and moved to Glasgow to study accountancy. I worked as an accountant in Glasgow for a few years before moving back to the North-East to work in Aberdeen. My own health problems introduced me to the wonders of Chinese Medicine in 2016. After suffering with chronic migraines for a number of years and becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the side effects of the medications I was taking, I turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shiatsu, acupuncture and herbs provided me with a foundation to my journey to recovery and now I am migraine free! I began studying shiatsu in 2017 and was instantly fascinated by it. In 2018 I made the decision to move away from accountancy so that I can help others through shiatsu. I qualified as a shiatsu practitioner in 2019.

Pascale O'Kane
I grew up in France near the Pyrenees. Enjoying the outdoors, climbing mountains & playing in the sea. Nature was always there, nourishing, supportive & mysterious. I loved Studying Philosophy. Always curious of the questions of Life. As I moved to Wales, I became a teacher as well as a mother. I discovered Eastern thought while practicing & studying Yoga. Years later, I further deepened my exploration of eastern traditions, the rich poetic of Taoism & Traditional Chinese Medicine, undertaking the journey to be a Shiatsu practitioner. The experience of giving and receiving touch, powerful, insightful, certainly brought me home to the landscape & language of Nature within our body. Away from our need to understand or judge, our desire to transcend, Shiatsu invites us to be fully alive to the now, however shadowy, integrate light & darkness, invite awareness, wholeness, compassion, empowering our choices. Since graduating with the Bristol School of Shiatsu in 2013, I have worked as a practitioner with the Voluntary Sector and from my home clinic in Gower, all the while deepening my practice, exploring tools such as "Transformational Dialogue" & the Extraordinary Vessels. I strive to meet you in a shared space with true listening presence and the gift of a witnessing touch, so as the wisdom of your body reignites and pulses you might also remember who you are, reclaim the sovereignty of your heart and wear proudly all colours & shades of your psyche. I am a qualified yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga & a registered member of the Shiatsu Society UK.

Onintza Garai
My interest in Shiatsu started in 2013 while pregnant. I like the simplicity, the use of two hands, the philosophy behind it and the fact that it is received fully clothed, seated, lying down on a futon or on a massage table. Currently I have a home practice. Sessions last about one hour (new clients, allow fifteen minutes extra for an initial consultation) and are received fully clothed on a comfortable floor mat. After a brief discussion about what you want from the session (e.g., pain relief, better sleep, reduced habitual worry) I assess your ‘system’, in silence. I work on your body to find balance and make adjustments that are suggested rather than imposed. After the session, I offer feedback and suggestions which you may find useful. My fee is £40 per hour. I also offer, Shiatsu at work and in the community: Shiatsu mini sessions, ideal sessions for health and wellbeing events and busy workplace environment where employees can benefit from this quick and de-stressing treatment. Seated Acupressure is a non-invasive treatment specifically designed for the back, neck, shoulders, the arms, hands and scalp. My fee is variable depending on the group size, please get in touch. https://intzashiatsu.square.site/
