I was first introduced to Shiatsu back in 1990 with a foundations course that opened my eyes to the amazing power of touch. After living and working overseas as a nutritionist running aid and development programmes for many years I returned to the UK in 2011 and realised this was now my chance to explore my interest in this healing art further. I’ve been practicing Shiatsu since 2012 and qualified as a Shiatsu therapist in December 2015 from the Shiatsu College, London. Since qualifying I have assisted at the college helping to support and inspire new students of Shiatsu.
I am registered with the Shiatsu Society www.shiatsusociety.org and fully insured to practice in the UK. I currently run sessions at Helen Douglas House in Oxford offering Shiatsu for staff and parents of children attending the hospice. My private practice is based in East Oxford from my customised space ‘The Willow Shed’ where i run sessions on Thursdays and Fridays most weeks.
