I have been practicing Shiatsu since completing my three-year professional training at The Shiatsu College Newcastle in 2009. The work has taken me to a number of settings including offering Shiatsu at Search, a charity serving older people in the west of Newcastle, for several years. 

My commitment to Shiatsu stems from a wider interest in the role of bodywork in supporting health and wellbeing which I have developed during my career as a professional dance artist, choreography and lecturer. The Shiatsu practitioner and contemporary dancer share many goals including ease of movement, presence and awareness, and sensitivity in human contact. I am a Senior (SrSS) member of the Shiatsu Society UK.
