About me

My vision is to help people know and understand themselves more deeply through Shiatsu.

I have been practising Shiatsu since 1981 and teaching since 1983. My Shiatsu focus is Zen Shiatsu as taught by Pauline Sasaki, who was my main teacher and inspiration for over 20 years.

My experiences with clients over the years have taught me to appreciate the power and the simplicity of Shiatsu touch - it is a privilege to contact someone's body and to be able to help them with Shiatsu technique.

Currently I have a small practice and much of my time is spent on teaching in the Glasgow School of Shiatsu. I have written three books on Shiatsu: Health Essentials - Shiatsu (publ Element Books), The Complete Illustrated Guide to Shiatsu (publ Element & Harper Collins), The Extended Meridians of Zen Shiatsu (publ Singing Dragon).
