Vicky Smyth

The magic of shiatsu found me in 1989 and I have been fascinated ever since. I am constantly impressed by the elegance and effectiveness of this wonderful healing art.

I was fortunate to work with some exceptional teachers, notably Elaine Liechti, Clifford Andrews and Pauline Sasaki, and have enjoyed being a teacher myself since 1993. My book, The Extended Meridians of Zen Shiatsu came out in 2017.

With a background in yoga, qi gong, reiki, nutrition and eastern philosophy I have also trained in hypnotherap and EFT, and enjoy a busy full-time practice in Glasgow.
