Professional Shiatsu Practitoner
I first discovered shiatsu in 2004, drawn to its gentle yet powerful way of supporting the body and mind. I began my training at the Bristol College of Shiatsu with Nicola Pooley and Mercedes Nunez, and completed my final year at the Bristol School of Shiatsu under the guidance of Paul McNicholls and Keith Phillips.
Since then, I've continued to deepen my practice through further training with teachers such as Michael Rose, Thea Bailey, Suzanne Yates and Nick Pole. This diversity of influences has shaped a style that is unique and blends traditional principles with a sensitivity to each individual's needs.
I also completed a Post Graduate Year with Mercedes Nunez, earning the MRSS (Member of the Register of the Shiatsu Society) diploma, and I am now a Fellow of the Society.
My approach to shiatsu is deeply energy-based. I create a space where your body can settle into profound relaxation—allowing the busy, conscious mind to step aside and your natural healing processes to unfold. This way of working is gentle and supportive, and many people who have found other forms of bodywork challenging say they feel safe and at ease during sessions.
