Kate practices in Crouch End, North London.
Kate Allardyce trained with the British School of Shiatsu-Do, graduating in 2003, and has been a member of the Shiatsu Society since 2002. Kate practices Shiatsu Shin-Tai, a modern evolution of traditional shiatsu, and has done extensive post-graduate training with Shin-Tai International.
Shiatsu Shin Tai uses both light touch and deep pressure, body stretches, joint mobilisation, acu-pressure points and also incorporates:
cranial and subtle energy techniques to align the vibrational energy body and chakras.
Treatments can have a positive effect on all body systems and bring vitality, deep relaxation, relief from pain and tension, mental clarity and renewed motivation. Treatments help to release deep-held stress patterns in the body, mind and emotions to support the recovery of inner life force and better structural alignment. Receiving shiatsu can be especially beneficial when undergoing significant life challenges, feeling stuck or coping with pain, injury or long-term health symptoms. The aim of sessions is to support the body’s innate self-healing capacity which is fundamentally empowering for the receiver.
Kate also practices Craniosacral Therapy and trained with the Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust, graduating in 2010.
