About me: My first experience of shiatsu was a turning point for me. The session seemed to connect with me as a whole person and I really wanted to understand and replicate that feeling for myself as self development and to share that experience with others. Having completed the three year professional training at Newcastle Shiatsu College in 2001, I started my practice in Newcastle/Gateshead area. I continued to develop my practice by becoming a teaching assistant and subsequently started teaching myself. I currently teach regularly at Manchester Shiatsu College. Throughout my training and on going continuing professional development with various teachers my work incorporates influences from many styles including Zen Shiatsu & Seiki. I consider sessions as an opportunity for the receiver to be truly listened and connected to, creating a space for change. Apart from my Shiatsu practice, I teach Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes and also work in a community pottery.
