I live in Lydbury North with my family, offering treatments from my home practice a wooden room i have built in my garden, comfortable and warm amongst the rolling hills of Shropshire, offering a place of relaxation and calm. Also i offer treatments from the beautiful "Natural harmony Centre" 15 minutes form Welshpool/ Powys , out in the welsh hills.
The treatments I offer are about creating a space for you to come to, to be fully present with whatever is going on for you. I am there as a support for you. Whatever you may be wanting or needing from the session whether physical or emotional, i believe that you and your own body have the power within you to engage with your own healing. I as the practitioner encourage it and help you tap into this. It is never the practitioner who "heals"another. The power lies within you. I believe we all need help and support in our lives at times to encourage growth and inner healing in ourselves and our lives, or sometimes to just be heard or express ourselves is enough.. Shiatsu treatments offer the space and the medium of touch to do just this.
I have studied over the years with the fabulous teachers of The Bristol School of Shiatsu, Sonia Moriceau's Healing-Shiatsu school in Hereford, Quantum Shiatsu with Nicola.Pooley/Ley, Keith Philips Post Graduate course, along with Carola Beresford-cooke and various other established teachers over the years. Beginning this wonderful journey in 1993, it has helped me develope as a person and a practitioner and find my way and style of working with people.
I have also been involved with "Women Within" a community of women worldwide (Transitions Europe) who offer workshops and circles for women to be fully themselves, empower them and bring whatever sits within them into the light.
Learning valuable communication skills around valuing and expressing ones own voice and inner feelings, really listening to others and honouring ones path and others paths in life.
