The Shiatsu Society News
The Shiatsu Society News is a quarterly magazine containing articles,
letters and items of interest to members.
It is edited by members and most of the contributions are from members.
Each newsletter can contain articles about different styles of Shiatsu,
information about what is happening in the world of shiatsu both in the
UK and abroad. It is an opportunity for members to share experiences, ask
for advice and build up networks and contacts. There are also regular adverts
for courses from foundation level through to practitioner and post-graduate
level.
If you want to find out about courses in your area, or just want to read
more about this wonderful therapy then this is the newsletter for you!
It is available by annual subscription which you can purchase your subscription in our online shop. Please
click on the Shop link, on the left of this page, and purchase an annual
subscription.
Autumn 2005 (Issue 95)
This issue focuses on how we can
work with vibrational energy through Shiatsu. Use the
links on the left to view three articles from the Autumn 2005 edition of the
newsletter: Shiatsu and the Soul, A new model of understanding energy work
and Listening to the elements.
This issue also has an
article that brings us up to date on the cross
European Shiatsu research study which is still in progress.

Winter 2005 (Issue 96)
The Winter 2005 edition
of the newsletter takes the theme of Case Histories. This issue
shows their usage in many areas and how we can improve on them. Far from
being dry and technical, they can truly inspire. Follow the links on the
left to view the articles: Desire for boundaries and protection; Zen Shiatsu
support after O.R. stroke; and The effects of Shiatsu on post-term pregnancy.
