European Shiatsu Week

Held annually - the 3rd week of September

2009 - 21st to 27th September

 

This will be the 5th European Shiatsu Week with a series of events taking place around the UK. It is the perfect time to try something different. Many Shiatsu Society's in Europe also participate in this promotion with radio interviews, special offers, advertisements, articles and taster treatments.

The week aims to increase awareness of Shiatsu as a complementary therapy and highlights the range of benefits that the treatment can offer.

Our practitioners offer various promotions such as free taster treatments, discounted treatments, radio interviews, open days and much more.

Dr Hilary Jones has supported the Shiatsu Society's publicity drive and has conducted various radio & TV interviews.

The Shiatsu Society will be holding an event at the University of Westminster to launch the results of the new resarch in conjunction with the University of Leeds. All health professions with an interest in research and media are welcome to attend. See the research page for further details.
