Regional Forums

We are planning as many as possible Regional Forums to be held around the UK.

These are meetings where members can come and talk to a Director about the work the Society does and the work members do and to get feedback. They are a chance to discuss a wide range of issues and to examine what the Society does and could do for its members and the general public. We receive some very useful feedback from these friendly sessions and we hear that are as useful for the members as they are for us. One of the main discussion topics that emerged last year and was echoed at Congress was on professionalism and Shiatsu’s image in the world at large.

We would like more members, and non members, to turn up and to build in a more solid workshop programme that accompanies the meetings. It may also be a good idea to work with more Shiatsu schools and colleges in the staging of the events.

If you would like to support, attend or contribute to the meetings and/or the workshops then please get in touch. If you think your area has a strong network of members then let us know too – we want to be where most members get a chance to meet us.
